No. Any standard, touch-tone phone will work with Digital Home Phone service. It makes no difference whether you have a wall-mounted phone or a portable cordless phone. All types of standard, touch-tone phones can be used. Also, answering machines and Caller ID display equipment will work with Digital Home Phone service.
